September 9, 2008 (Philadelphia, PA) - The Judge Group, a professional services
firm specializing in Technology Consulting, Enterprise-Wide Staffing, and Corporate
Training was named in the 2nd annual Inc. 5000 ranking of the fastest-growing private
companies in the country by Inc. Magazine, the premier publication for entrepreneurs
and small businesses.
The Inc. 5000 list ranks privately held companies according to percentage revenue
growth from 2004 through 2007. It includes the Inc. 500 but digs deeper to offer a
comprehensive look at the companies and industries that are driving the U.S. economy.
The list includes many businesses that are too big to grow at the pace required to
make the Inc. 500. The 5000 companies that made this year's list had a total combined
revenue of $185.4 billion with an average growth of 334 percent. The Judge Group was
included in the Business Services category which was one of the top two industry
categories along with IT Services.
To be eligible for the 2008 Inc. 5000 list, companies must have been founded and
generating revenue by the first week of 2004, and therefore able to show four full
calendar years of sales. Additionally, they have to be U.S.-based, privately held,
for profit, and independent. Revenue in 2004 must have been at least $200,000, and
revenue in 2007 must have been at least $2 million. Each profile is researched and
reported by one of the dozens of writers assigned to the project and includes
interviews with the CEO's of almost all the companies on the list.
"I am very proud of The Judge Group's inclusion in the Inc.5000 list," stated
Martin E. Judge Jr., CEO and Founder of The Judge Group. "Our ranking reflects our
strong commitment to our clients, our industry and our global growth
initiative."
